[Saki leans her chin on her hand, scrutinizing Lauren with a puzzled expression.]
Saki: What on EARTH made you DO that?
[Lauren stretches her arms out, resting her elbows on the pallets behind her. She looks away in an offhand way.]
Lauren: ...Reasons. I don't really want to go into it.
[Shot of Lauren and Saki from the back, silhouetted against the dim light from outside.]
Saki: But you've been alone this whole time? What did you do? Where did you go?
Lauren: I kinda know some of the people who started a camp up in Upper Arlington... They wanted me to stick around, but... eh.
Saki: Hmm?
Lauren: I'm not really INTO the whole groupy teamy thing.
[There is a pause. Saki continues to fix Lauren with her gaze, her eyebrows knitted in something nearing pity.]
[Lauren puts her hands behind her head, closing her eyes.]
Lauren: Easier to just look after myself. Other people make things too complicated.
