[Lauren continues speaking. Saki, sitting on the ground, reacts with an eyebrows-raised expression.]
Lauren: Plus... never know when the stickies are gonna do a sweep. Gotta keep moving.
[Saki poses a question, her hand in a tentative gesture.]
Saki: Mind if I tag along for a while? You seem to know the area.
[Lauren, half turned away still, says nothing, regarding Saki with a rather inscrutable expression.]
[Establishing shot of an abandoned gas station. It's nearly dark, and everything is coated in deep blue, the last rays of sunlight fading from the sky. It is also raining buckets, and there are many puddles and pools of water on the ground.]
