Commission Sale

I’m starting to get ready for Anime Boston next month, and I’m having a commission sale to cover some bills and such between now and then. :)  Go check out all the deets on my Tumblr and get some artwork for super cheap.

Page 85-96 Transcripts Added

Hi folks!  It came to my attention that I’d forgotten to add transcripts for pages 85 to 96, but those are now up!  My apologies for any inconvenience.  (I think what happened was I uploaded the second half of Chapter 3 all at once and didn’t add the transcripts as I was going, and thus I forgot.)  New pages going up right now are all going to have transcripts right away, so hopefully this will not be an issue again.

While I’m on this topic, for folks who are low-vision, blind, and/or using screen readers, please let me know if there are any other ways I can make my site more accessible!  I will do what I can. :)

You can now support The Hues on Patreon!

Patreon is kind of like a Kickstarter for ongoing projects!  But instead of a single lump sum for a single reward (or reward package) you give a smaller amount on a regular basis.  (In this case, every month.)  Pledges are collected once a month and you can change or cancel your pledge at any time.  Each pledge comes with its own rewards, as well!

A pledge of at least $1.00 gets you access to a patron-only section where you can see behind-the-scenes art and works-in-progress.

The Hues will always be free to read online, and is not turning into a pay-to-read webcomic or anything of the sort.  Even if no one ever signs up to be a patron, I’ll still be posting the comic three times a week.  This is just one of many ways people can support my work!

Chapter Three Post-Mortem

And here we are, at the end of Chapter Three.

Pretty much me all the time.

This is pretty much my default expression.

A few people have asked me if/when I’m going to Kickstart Chapter 4, so I figured it would be good to clarify that I plan on diving right into it! There will be a short break while I build up a buffer, but look for the updates to resume on February 14th.

I have to thank all those of you who backed my Kickstarter once again. I’m so happy to be making comics as my job, and it could not have happened without you all. :D My next Kickstarter project will probably be the book edition of The Hues Volume 1, which will collect the first three chapters in print, sometime later this year.

In the meantime, I wanted to plug a couple things. My friend Emy is currently running a Kickstarter for the first book collection of her comic, Trying Human, which you should all be reading. And my other friend Rose’s comic, Red Moon Rising, just turned 5 years old! So check both of those things out.

I’d you’ve got any friends who might enjoy The Hues, now is an excellent time to get them hooked! Share the comic on your favorite internet hangouts, and get ready for February 14th!
