The Hues

[Sami sits up, looking distraught and gesturing with her hands.]

Sami: Well, isn't it better to just get it all OUT there? I mean, not ALL out-there out-there, but... right?

[From Sami's right, Hannah chimes in with her thoughts.]

Hannah: We decided from the beginnin' that we wouldn't keep things from 'em that are gonna AFFECT 'em.

[Sami wrings her hands.]

Hannah: (continued from previous panel) Now they know. We ain't runnin' off, abandonin' 'em at the last minute. It's part o' the plan. Y'did the right thing.

[Andy seats herself next to Sami, who hangs her head in the lap.]

Andy: I don't think there was a way to put it and NOT get that reaction, hun.
Sami: I know... it just sucks disappointing everyone.

[Andy lifts her head a bit, as if listening for something.]

Sami: (off panel) Are they still mad?
Andy? Hmm... a few. But mostly concerned.
