[In the basement, the gang eats out of cans as Brian speaks.]
Brian: It's in Upper Arlington, up Northwest Boulevard. They've got food and water, and medicine, they said. I think we should go. It's gonna be hard on YOU, Angela, but I'm afraid what could happen if we don't get that looked at. We're running out of painkillers.
[Angela and her son share a meaningful glance.]
[Angels looks resolute, her fingers steepled.]
Angela: Alright. Tomorrow. Let's go.
[Back in the present, the four have taken shelter inside an empty shop. The plate glass windows at the front are cracked and shattered in several places. Angela and Aaron are seated on a heavy wooden bench, Kurt on a countertop, and Brian on an upturned trash can.]
CAPTION: 9/29
Kurt: Crossing the RIVER was the hard part. The rest of the way SHOULD be a straight shot.
Brian: If we can FIND Northwest... we don't even know what that part of town LOOKS like.
