Monthly Update
Hi, everyone! Since it’s the first of the month, I thought I would post a general news post on what been going on with The Hues. We’re now 21 pages into the comic, and I’m happy that Andy has now shown up! I was really looking forward to being able to draw another character in the story.
Early Adopters
Thank you to everyone who is reading at this point! Some of you are even people who are not my friends and family members, which blows my mind. You really are in on the ground floor of this comic, as this first chapter is really going to be me plugging away at my comic without doing much promotion myself. The Hues has an official Twitter and Tumblr, but for the sake of not getting too far ahead of myself, that’s really what I’m limiting myself to in these early days. Once chapter 1 is finished, which will be 44-48 pages long, the real work begins. :)
Supporting the Artist
For those who don’t know, I’m currently doing this comics and freelance gig full-time while I’m job-hunting, so any and all support helps. I have an established online store that I encourage you to take a look at. :) My old webcomic, Garanos, is currently being released in eBook format, which is exciting, and The Hues will be released on eBook concurrently with the website, so that’s something to look forward to.
YouTube
I’ve continued making new episodes of my Let’s Draw! series on YouTube, which features process videos of me working on the comic, so definitely check those out, too. :)
Conventions
It’s still a little far off, but I will be at SPACE in Columbus, Ohio in April, and if all goes well there might be… perhaps… a chapter one ashcan comic? I’m still working on the logistics for that, but if I get them made, I’ll let you all know. XD
That’s about all I can think of at the moment! I hope you are all having a great day, and I’ll see you at the next update.
